During my time at Benowa High School, I had the privilege of serving as a TIP leader, where I mentored Year 7 students and developed strong public speaking skills by addressing large audiences. This role helped me cultivate leadership qualities, effective communication, and the ability to support others in their growth and development.
At Subway and Kmart, I further enhanced these skills by training and onboarding new team members. I took responsibility for ensuring they understood company policies, mastered their roles, and felt confident in their tasks. These experiences not only strengthened my leadership and teaching abilities but also allowed me to work collaboratively in team environments, adapt to different learning styles, and build rapport with colleagues.
