I took up a position of supervisor on April 5th 2024. Quickly after that time I was assigned Friday nights from 4:45 to 9:15 as a permanent supervisor shift that I complete each week. Currently I also cover Wednesday nights as supervisor. Through starting this position I learnt how to do refunds, returns, exchanges and to count tills.

Before beginning supervising I was already labeled as someone others can rely on

I can delegate and organize the staff while the supervisor responds to important matter. Yes I have only been working 6 months officially as a supervisor. I’ve made connection with staff and do my best to ensure I’ve:

• Applied strong leadership talents and problem-solving skills to maintain team efficiency and organize workflows.
• Oversaw daily operations of the department, ensuring smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
• Demonstrated commitment to the organization's core values, leading by example and fostering a comfortable and sustainable work environment.

• Mentored junior staff members in their career development, sharing knowledge from years of experience in the field.

I started as a Front end cashier on December 6th 2018. As time went on, I branched out to learning more details of front end, such as ACO and Smokeshop. I’ve also now learnt other departments such as Groceries, Deli and Online. With minimal experience in Nightfill.

As a cashier for Woolworths I’ve:

- Performed cash, card, and check transactions to complete customer purchases.

- Built relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.

- Mentored new employees on cashier duties and best practices, improving overall staff performance.

- Greeted customers entering store and responded promptly to customer needs.

- Restocked and organized merchandise in front lanes.

- Answered questions about store policies and addressed customer concerns.

- Responded promptly to requests for assistance, spills and customer inquiries.
