Develop and execute sales and business development projects that added value to the organisation with a focus on client outcomes, brand awareness, and financial sustainability. Identify, prepare, and respond to business development opportunities through strategic grant, tender and bid management. As a result of HELP's Board and Executive undertaking a whole of business Strategic Services review commencing in early 2022, which included a Future Fit restructure project, The Head of Business Development role and “whole of business” Business Development team structure was introduced. Entering the business with a blank canvas which allowed me to build a team and develop, execute, and implement an entire customer journey framework along with all supporting policies, procedures, guidelines, manuals, templates, strategies, and budgets. A key component of the role initially was to engage, educate and inform the broader business of what the role of a Business Development team was, and this was underpinned by my commitment in gaining trust and respect through communication, consultation, and collaboration. As Head of Business Development, I lead the organisations business development and strategic relationship function incorporating all business-to-business activities and key internal and external relationships to facilitate long term commercial, employment, and social outcomes.
