Primary Responsibilities:

Initiatives:

• Leading the Citywide's digital transformation initiative for Citywide's Waste services contracts.
• Developed a data management strategy that would streamline the data flow out of a wide application landscape which would enable the business to be agile and make informed decision.
• Analyzed and mapped existing systems/application landscape and databases and recommended enhancements to solve business needs

Leading:

• Engaging with IT vendor and internal IT support to determine SLA’s, in-scope services, out-of-scope services and associated costs for budgetary adherence.
• Gathering, documenting and validating business requirements
• Define, document and implement changes to business processes and related IT solution.
• Facilitating workshops, conducting one on one interviews, process mapping and utilising other methods including developing User Stories.
• Managing Requirement traceability across the initiative
• Leading the next-level product and system development projects with third-party providers and/or multi-stakeholder collaboration projects.
• Collaborate closely with upper management to drive strategy through development and implementation of new processes.

Reporting:

• Developing reports and analysis to operational stakeholders i.e. disruptions, emergencies, delays due to weather, traffic, construction, breakdowns, absenteeism etc.
• In consultation with management, built operational dashboard(s) on key performance metrics for the operational team.
• Provide trend analysis or operational improvements over time and build operational efficiency benchmarks for each waste stream
• Support continuous improvement in the operation working with the waste management team, supervisor team and administration to ensure cost control, efficiency gains and KPIs are achieved.
• Work collaboratively with other Citywide contracts, SME’s and corporate support teams to demonstrate contract best practices.

Ezybin is an aggregator that enable customers to order a skip bin easily from their smartphone app.

Stakeholders:

Skip bin providers and customer (removalist, builders, gardners and landscapers)

Role:

• Conducted interviews with key business users to collect information on business processes and user requirements for digital transformation.
• Documented business processes and analyzed procedures to align with changing business needs.

• Led cross-functional teams to analyze and understand enterprise-wide operational impacts and opportunities of technology changes.

• Overhauled operational workflow to launch council's permit management process into existing platform.

ASPIRE is an online marketplace which intelligently matches your business with potential purchasers or recyclers of your waste by-products. It saves on your disposal costs and cuts the amount of waste going to landfill.

It is a a Australian example of industrial symbiosis where a digital tool supports a social business network, deployed across a region to aid circular economy.

Stakeholders:

Councils(City of Kingston, City of Greater Dandenong, Hume City Council and Knox City Council), Businesses and CSIRO's Data61 laboratory.

Technologies:

Drupal, .NET core, Angular 7 and Mysql.

Role:

• Conducted interviews with key business users to collect information on business processes and user requirements.
