  • The project transitioned into an industrial facility with milestones on commercial production, supported by the NAIT grant, after thorough screening and scrutiny of the market and business analysis by the third-party assessment authority, AGL Allen.
  • The research project resulted in the development of high-purity, high-surface-area carbon from sugar and identifying the market and business analysis by evaluating cost-effectiveness and scale-up opportunities for bulk production of carbon.
  • Effectively managed the project by providing regular reports and presentations of results of research and analysis based on the milestones and deliverables set by the industry partners, as well as the ARC hub and stakeholder management, and meeting project deadlines in a timely manner.
  • G8 education and delivering research outcomes to the quality standards set up by communications and research institutes.
  • The joint tertiary project results in peer-reviewed journal articles in highly reputed outlets like Nature and has been presented at 3 scientific conferences and workshops. A patent based on this technology is currently under development.
