Head of Learning - Responsibilities include:

• Member of the Xavier College Junior School Leadership Team

• Implementation of curriculum review, development and improvement processes
• Development and delivery of formal and informal professional learning opportunities
• Oversight of assessment and reporting
• Coordination of Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority (VRQA) processes
• Development of connections between cross-campus staff
• Preparation and stewardship of, the annual curriculum budget

Head of Diverse Learning - Responsibilities include:

• Management of the Diverse Learning team, including Diverse Learning Assistants, Teachers and administration staff
• Leadership of the Xavier College Junior School Campus aspects of the NCCD team
• Preparation and stewardship of the annual Learning Diversity budget
• Oversight of gifted and talented and learning enhancement students and programs
• Liaising with stakeholders including parents, carers and external agencies in relation to student learning needs and funding
• Provision of professional learning opportunities for staff
• Supporting staff to meet the College’s obligations with regard to Disability legislation

• Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority, F-10 Reference Panel for the development of the Victorian Curriculum 2.0
• Supporting leaders to develop and implement a strategic Covid-19 response for staff and student wellbeing and remote learning
• Development and facilitation of whole school professional learning
• Leadership coaching and mentoring of emerging and experienced leaders

• Designing and delivering regional professional learning opportunities
• Liaising between stakeholders at system, university (Australian Catholic University) and school level
• Coaching and mentoring emerging teachers and leaders

• Facilitation of Department of Education and Training, Learning Specialist Professional Learning Suite

Participants were leaders from the primary, secondary and specialist setting sectors from both metropolitan and rural Victoria. Courses include: Leading from the middle, Professional observations for professional learning, Professional conversations for professional learning.
