  • I spent 12 months working with the systems team in Heathwood HFCDC Brisbane as an inventory specialist, which covers a wide range of responsibility and plays a key role in ensuring the integrity of all stock coming in and out of the distribution center is not compromised
  • All date codes, footprints, LPN numbers and quality of stock must align with what we have in the system otherwise there must be some investigation on why things aren't matching
  • Day to day tasks vary across both chambers of the warehouse including, cycle counting, investigating shorts, pallets that often haven't been received, reclaim which involves salvaging stock to minimise waste, anything that isn't sellable we donate to Foodbank to give back to the community so long as the items are still within date and quality is not compromised.
  • I also help site in the training space, with inductions, technical training and coaching.

  • In 2017 I was selected as a site champion for a project called Ramp up for the JDA Warehouse System upgrade now called (Blue Yonder).
  • My responsibilities were to learn the functions of the system for each department,
  • Lead information sessions regarding the system upgrade.
  • Set up new profiles for all teams.
  • Technical training for all staff of the new functions within each piece of equipment and machinery.
  • Supporting the systems team with testing until go live.
