Perth based gas turbines technician covering Australia, PNG & Asia region supporting General Electric LM2500, LM6000 & LMS100 industrial gas Turbines for Power generation, Oil & Gas. This position is a customer facing role and involves working independently, being flexible to travel at any time and managing workloads and work scope requirements in a safe manner.

• Perth based gas turbines technician covering multiple regions on and offshore facilities within Australia supporting General Electric LM2500 & LM6000 industrial gas generators in addition to supporting Solar turbine units and a variety of rotating equipment. This position is a customer facing role and involves working independently, being flexible to travel at any time and managing workloads and work scope requirements.

• FSR technician covering multiple regions including Asia, Pacific, North & south
• America and Europe for support and service of the General Electric LM2500 & LM5000 industrial gas generators in addition to supporting specialist borescope inspections and maintenance on GT propelled foreign naval Fleets
• This position is a customer facing role and involves working independently, being flexible to travel at any time and managing workloads and work scope requirements
• The role involves being capable to carry out borescope inspections, top case repairs, hot section repairs and engine exchanges with ability to carry out all maintenance manual tasks, corrective repairs and service bulletin requirements.

• My duties were to perform overhaul, repair & maintenance related tasks on GE LM2500 & LM5000 Gas Turbines and LM2500 Power Turbines as directed by Air New Zealand, I was positioned in power plant and power turbines sections and often helped in all other modules sections when needed
• I undertook AIR NZ’s Turbine Baroscope training and Quality Certifier training (QC, QCA)

• Completed an Automotive Mechanical and Electrical apprenticeship with South Auckland Motors Ford & Mazda
• This role included a variety of servicing , mechanical and electrical repairs and service bulletins
• This is where I gained a solid mechanical foundation that has allowed me to easily transition industrial work.
