TANYA NEMEC

Footscray,VIC

Summary

I have over 18 years’ experience in the health industry; seven years of which have been in a leadership role as a managing pharmacist for over 25 team members at a fast-paced 24-hour pharmacy. In my role as a managing pharmacist, I improved business operations by creating policies and procedures in compliance with government legislation and guidelines. Combining my entrepreneurial drive and business management skills, I successfully increased revenue and profit performance with annual turnover exceeding $2.5m. I also led and developed my team to ensure we provided exceptional service. Eager for a new challenge, I have transitioned into an auditing role which takes advantage of my deep knowledge of pharmacy industry. My experience as a managing pharmacist has motivated me to build upon my management skills by completing an MBA at Melbourne Business School where I achieved an Award of Distinction (Dean’s List) while continuing to work full-time. I am passionate about promoting and contributing to social progress and public health.
