My role as After- hours Clinical Nurse Specialist over the past 4 years working as a Clinical nurse specialist 2/ Clinical Development Nurse and 8 years Clinical Nurse Educator; is to use critical thinking skills to analyse complex situations (during Clinical reviews and MET calls) and make well informed clinical judgements and prompt but well guided clinical decision which are in line with practice and organisation development frameworks regarding patient care; preventing deterioration and improving patient outcomes. Also initiating effective evidence based patient management strategies, performing complex procedures and interpreting / following complicated treatment regimens. Following up and assessing patients post Clinical reviews and MET calls.
