• In-depth understanding of the operations and applications of solid-state devices including diodes, bipolar junction transistors and fired-effect transistors. Additionally, solid understanding of the concepts and operations of various analogue circuits implemented in discrete and in integrated forms.
• Ability to analyze and design analogue building blocks such as filters, instrumentation amplifiers and oscillators is operational amplifiers.
• Understanding of communications principles, such as the various types of filters and their uses, AM, and FM signals and how they can be manipulated. Detailed understanding of sampling and PCM.
• Understanding of terminology, concepts, standards and techniques of signal processing for communication systems. Ability to analyze the performance of various modulation methods for analogue and digital transmission and predict the noise effect on signals.
• Very good understanding in electrical power systems. Ability to calculate transmission line parameters of the given transmission line. Ability to perform a wide variety of per-unit conversions and power-flow problem in detail. Ability to perform flow and contingency analysis and differentiate among PV, PQ, reference, swing, and slack buses in power flow analysis.
• Experience in using Power World software to perform various tasks such as power flow analysis, constructing stable power flow systems, Gauss-Seidel power flow analysis and Polar Newton-Raphson power flow analysis.
• Understanding of analogue electronics, use and operations of various amplifiers, filters, and analogue circuitry.
• Understanding of electrical machines and electrical power systems such as transformers, dc and synchronous machines, autotransformers, transmission lines, etc.
• In-depth understanding of electromechanical energy conversion, including the operations and analysis of transformers, induction motors, synchronous & DC machines, and power electronics.
• Intermediate experience and knowledge of control systems and automation, including particular controllers, motors, systems, analysis and frequency response techniques.
• Relevant knowledge of Industry 4.0 and how it can be applied to diverse industries and companies.
• In-depth knowledge of Electromagnetic Waves, Radar systems, Shielding scenarios, and a good understanding of Waveguides.

• Material engineering, including their microstructure, properties, structure, failure modes and sustainability use.
• Principles underlying the physics of energy and motion using written and oral communication.
• Programming skills to implement data processing and presentation.
• Programming with high level languages such as C, C++, Python, Visual Basic, and VHDL.
