I am a 19-year-old high school graduate with a hard-working and positive attitude towards my studies, and personal ambitions. Work History

Ice Cream Churner/Server

Kuld Creamery
03.2022 - 07.2023
  • Food & beverages preparation and handling.
  • Personal hygiene and food safety.
  • Processed sales transactions for cash and card purchases.
  • Initiative & cleaning.
  • Responsible for opening and closing of multiples shops & kitchen.
  • Replenished condiments, beverages, and supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service areas.
  • Provided details on seasonal flavor availability, ice cream source, allergens, and specials.
  • Excellent people’s skills (having a friendly attitude and demeaner whilst interacting with customers).
  • Maintained menu knowledge - labelling our products with allergy warnings/dietary requirements (NF - nut free/DF - dairy free/GF - gluten free/V - vegan). Since I memorised all the recipes from making our products and cleaning in-between, I was confident to provide recommendations and answers to customers questions.
  • Multitasking with a variety of smaller kitchen jobs e.g. making cookies/brownies/waffle cones, cleaning dishes and workplace, whilst simultaneously serving customers & making ice cream.
  • Developed and implemented new flavor ideas to add variety to product offering.
  • I kept customers safe by learning the ingredients in all of our products. As it is vital for me to be aware of allergies and dietary requirements, learning all the recipes led to me systematically making certain products, e.g. vegan and nut included ice cream, first before making other dairy products.
  • Inventory management. Organising categories for ingredients, baked goods and ice cream in the fridge and freezer. This was crucial to make transporting our products from the kitchen to our stores more efficient. Additionally making sure I had the quantity and quality of ingredients needed to make our products.
  • Properly labeled and stored food, fresh ingredients and ice cream in the fridge, freezer and blast freezer to optimize freshness. Enhancing the quality of our products for our customers.
  • Food hygiene, always cleaning my workplace with sanitiser to avoid cross contamination between ingredients. As well as thoroughly cleaning my station before and after my shift.
  • I have advance knowledge, operating, handling & teaching skills behind our base and churning machines, being the senior churner whilst I was working. Additionally teaching juniors how to operate the machines.
