Duties include:

  • Customer enquires at the front counter and over the phone by answering queries using WebCops, NExUS, CAD and Court notices
  • Retrieval of police events and charges for administrative tasks

Customer service representative

SAL National
03.2022 - 04.2024

I have been working as a customer service representative with SAL National since March 2022.I answer customer calls, help them with sales and provide them with the correct information they are after

Duties include:

  • Processing customer orders
  • Ensure correct paperwork is complete for orders to be sent out
  • Customer service
  • Package slip printing
  • Greeting customers and helping their needs
  • Stocktaking
  • Replying to various emails
  • Communicating with the customer service team and sales representatives above
  • Data tracking of stock in the warehouse

These tasks allowed me to further develop my organisational and time management skill to meet the needs of the company

Achievements:

During my time at SAL National, I identified an issue relating to customer order files. Upon observation, it became evident that these files were stacked on top of each other, lacking any organisation. This arrangement made it challenging to locate specific orders when customers called for updates, resulting in prolonged search times. Recognising the need for a more streamlined approach, I proactively took the initiative to develop a systematic solution. I implemented a file organisation system that categorised the order files into weeks, ensuring that customer files were easily accessible and well-structured. This initiative substantially reduced the time spent searching through disorganised files, ultimately enhancing our productivity and customer service efficiency. My commitment to improving processes and implementing effective solutions positively impacted the overall workflow of the team
