Hey, my name is Tatiana Mega Soca. I am 24 years old and am a Cert III and diploma early childhood educator qualified alongside working towards completing my Cert IV in community services and wanting to also continue my studies within the special needs/disability sector.
I would describe myself as a very positive, open-minded, energetic, interpersonal communicator and enthusiastic woman working towards my goals in life. As a 24-year-old young adult who is ambitious in making a difference for my own career and also for others, I am just so eager to grow/learn from professionals within the work environment, such as experienced social workers, case managers, community development officers, outreach workers, counsellors, youth workers, disability support workers, etc.
I would say I do have strong collaboration skills and a consistent ability to adapt to changing needs, ensuring a reliable and supportive environment. Proficient in creating engaging educational activities, fostering positive relationships, and maintaining high standards of care and safety. Renowned for achieving results through effective communication and teamwork.
I have been described as a great leader by those who I have worked alongside and show great dedication to my role as an early childhood educator. Combined with my 6 years of experience in the industry, I believe that I can make a valuable contribution to your organisation.
As a current childcare educator with a proven track record at First Friends Early Learning Centre and as a Disability Support Worker under my own ABN. Excelled in creating inclusive, nurturing environments, enhancing client independence, and fostering educational growth and emotional support; confidentiality; and demonstrating exceptional interpersonal communication and creative thinking is super important for me to achieve when working with children and also my clients on a daily basis.
Having been in the early childhood industry for 6 years, I have decided to extend my interest by opening more pathways within my career by applying to TAFE and beginning my cert IV in community services, which I am now halfway through, and the cert IV will be complete this year, June 2025.
Why do I want to achieve getting into the community service industry?
One of the most fulfilling aspects is the opportunity to directly impact people’s lives and improve their quality of lives day to day. Helping individuals or entire communities improve their well-being and reach their potential, which for me is something I strive to do and want to grow/learn for my next milestone steps in my job career.
Supporting others through difficult times can lead to personal growth. You develop empathy, patience, and understanding, all of which are valuable life skills that I feel like will guide me in growing as a person also. Plus, the fulfilment of knowing you’re helping others reach their potential can lead to a great sense of motivation to do even better for individuals and the community.
