Overview:

Provides support and assists the University's Sports Officer across multiple facets that make up the wider Sport portfolio. A Sports Assistant carries out administrative, promotional and event management across areas such as Socials Sports, Representative Sports, On Campus Fitness/Gym and the Elite Athlete Program.


Key responsibilities:

  • Maintain a high degree of visibility throughout UNDA Sport events ensuring high levels of customer service, health and safety and cleanliness.
  • To provide assistance and a ‘student perspective' to the Sports Office in the development and maintenance of new and existing programs.
  • Establish and maintain excellent relationships with customers and potential customers, handling and escalating queries and complaints where appropriate.
  • Work in accordance with SDC departmental and University policies and procedures at all times.
