Volunteer work

As part of my HSC Aboriginal Studies Major Project, I volunteered at Noogaleek Children’s Centre and Kiama World of Learning to compare how each centre supports diverse cultural learning environments. This project focused on the incorporation of Aboriginal education in early childhood settings and its impact on children’s understanding of Indigenous perspectives. Through hands on experience, I gained insight into culturally inclusive teaching practices and the importance of embedding Indigenous knowledge in early learning programs.
