My objective is to perform to the best of my ability to improve educational outcomes for First Nations people through providing education and administrative support utilising my skills and experience to achieve this.
My role includes providing a range of specialised care services to support complex trauma-based needs for children, young people, families, and people living with disabilities. I help create a home-like environment following the therapeutic framework and support plan, for individualised care supporting needs of each young person.
My role was to implement and oversee the pastoral care (physical, emotional, spiritual and academic well-being) offered to the young girls in my care and ensuring they are living in a smooth functioning residential boarding house, whilst maintaining professional and pastoral contact with Boarders’ Parents/Caregivers.
My role as Indigenous Education Assistant was to provide assistance to Indigenous students, parents and staff.
My role was to work with students, parents and classroom teachers to maximise the learning experience of students by promoting an Aboriginal perspective through everything that was taught.
My role included working in a fast-paced environment, performing administrative duties whilst providing customers with information and answering a variety of enquiries. I completed a three-month school-based traineeship and continued employment.
