The supervisor role was a very demanding role in the way that I was the person coordinating the delivery of house frames, Gyprock and fitouts with local builders and Site supervisors. Deliveries were influenced by weather and site conditions, also other general public deliveries, which had to be done as well, quite often with very unrealistic timeframes. I was the person that could empty the delivery board each day even though it seemed endless and an impossible task.
  • Drivers in my charge at that time looked up to me and understood that I would not ask them to do something I wasn’t prepared to do myself.
