Summary

At present I am employed as a Child safety youth worker and NDIS Community Participation support person for Direct Care Resources. Whilst working for a previous employer Aspire Hub. The clients in Child Safety include self-harming teenagers with alcohol and drug dependence and complex behaviors. This has allowed me to expand my skill set and become experienced in managing challenging behavior's. I also have experience using CTARS and Brevity database entry and writing incident reports. I am currently enrolled to complete Cert IV Diploma in child safety. All other qualifications are current, e.g. Blue Card, NDIS Worker Screening Card, First Aid Certificate CPR. In relation to COVID I am fully double vaccinated.

I am reliable, flexible and adaptable and work with integrity and a high standard of accuracy including adapting my personal communication style to a level of being understood by Clients from all walks of life and cultures. I'm willing to undertake any further training that will enhance my current skill set.

I am very flexible and would be available to cover any shifts at short notice.
