Summary

I’m a dedicated and hard-working final-year law student with a passion for human rights-based areas of law and policy. From a young age, I have wanted to work hard to have a meaningful and impactful career that not only helps individuals access the law, but also achieve justice within it. My passion for human rights has been solidified in my recent studies in Czechia, where I did volunteer work with multiple NGOs focusing on human rights-based issues, with a particular focus on human trafficking and violence against women. My career experience outside of law over the past years has been primarily in hospitality venue management and in building and supporting teams within this field, which has given me many valuable skills in teamwork, communication, and conflict resolution that I can utilise throughout my career. My degree has given me skills in legal research, drafting legal documents, and critical thinking and problem-solving skills; however, I am looking to gain more hands-on experience to develop my skills further.
