Mandate: Spearhead the organisation's capacity and capability to design, manage and improve policy, procedure, process (i.e. ways of working (WoW)).

Responsibilities:

• Provision Agency head and Executive with organisational view of risks, gaps in controls with strategies to mitigation and management.
• Embedded the Ways of Working framework into operational practices.
• Spearheaded the development of TAFE NSW first value chain architecture.
• Oversaw a team of specialized services encompassing procedure, process, and change advisory services, database management, process modelling, and improvement support.
• Measured and progressed the organisation's policy and process maturity including development of strategic roadmap with key people, process, technology elements required at each phase.

Achievements:

• $270k cost avoidance as a result of advisory services preventing re-work and duplication
• $1.8M increase in staff productivity resulting from policy and procedure register upgrade
• $550k cost avoidance as a result of automating effort driven tasks, restructuring workforce, development of architectures.

Mandate: Cultivate and improvement mindset and enable the HR, Quality and Corporate functions to their optimize processes.

Responsibilities:

• Developed strong relationships with stakeholders through regular communication updates, fostering trust and confidence in the team's ability to deliver results.

Mandate: Advisor to the Finance Director on patient safety and quality risks that could result from proposed financial business decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Revitalized budget estimate papers, NPPs and business cases through the identification, forecasting, tracking, and reporting of cost benefit, patient safety and activity benefits.
• Delivered data-driven recommendations to senior management, shaping strategic decisions on business operations and improvement initiatives.
• Elevated business performance by analyzing financial and operational data to pinpoint trends and enhancement opportunities.
• Conducted root-cause analyses on operational inefficiencies, leading to tailored solutions that enhanced overall business performance.
