I began my professional dance career in Melbourne working consistently on TV shows, Film Clips and performing at significant corporate events before a contract with Melbourne Storm and the Walt Disney Special Events Group sky rocketed my career. Disney provided amazing opportunities where I danced in Disney Productions across Australia and Asia. Working my way up to dance captain, assistant choreographer and then eventually leading the audition process for the company in 2002. I was then recruited to work as a performer in a stage show at Tokyo Disney Sea. At the conclusion of my Tokyo contract, I moved to Hong Kong to assist in the set up for the Grand Opening of Hong Kong Disneyland in 2005.
From Children’s entertainer to Cabaret show, I stepped away from Disney to continue my love of performing at the Reef Hotel Casino in Cairns, this time in heels and feathers. In my downtime I created a side business organising a dance group to perform at local events. Organising contracts, sewing costumes, choreographing routines and editing music was part of the package. In Cairns, I was introduced to aerial skills and mastered an aerial apparatus called The ‘Spanish Web’.
Performing was complemented by teaching, which over 25 has grown into a love and passion. With a focus on nurturing and supporting young dancers and educating them on their way to success.
For the past 9 Years, I have successfully ran Sporty Kids Australia with my business partner. Sporty Kids started initially as a developmental program for babies, that grew into a recreational gym which has dance, gymnastics and fitness classes for children up to 8 years.
Alongside Sporty Kids, I currently teach
Tailor each class to meet student needs and abilities and allow dancers to progress at comfortable pace.
