Media Experience
I have over five years of experience in the media and communications industry, I’ve cultivated a diverse and hands-on portfolio that spans digital marketing, content creation, social media strategy, and public relations involvement,
My journey began as a Social Media Manager for two Not-For-Profit Organisations, the Shoalhaven Multicultural Committee (SMC), and the South Coast Tibetan Community (SCTC) where I led community-driven campaigns, organised local events, managed payroll, funding from council, and took leadership of donations and sponsorships from cliental, while also crafting inclusive digital narratives, and managing multi-platform content calendars to increase engagement and visibility.
Over the past three years, I’ve extended my expertise as a Social Media Promoter for high-profile brands and events. Notably, I’ve worked with Promiseland, one of the country's premier music festivals, executing social campaigns that resonated with large-scale audiences. I’ve also partnered with global lifestyle brand YesStyle, promoting Korean fashion and skincare through curated influencer-style content tailored to niche demographics. On both occasions I have excelled in meeting sales targets, creating constant engagement from audiences, and satisfying stakeholder expectations.
Additionally, I have two years of experience producing and shooting promotional media for EM4 Festival, WAO Superclub, and Elite Nightclub. In these roles, I worked as both a content creator and digital storyteller—capturing nightlife experiences, promoting personalized discount codes, shaping brand aesthetics, and optimizing visual campaigns to maximize reach and engagement. Beyond content creation, I contributed strategically to increasing brand visibility by conceptualizing and executing innovative outreach initiatives. One key success was the development of university-based “pop-up” hubs during Open Days and Welcome Weeks, which served as effective, high-impact touchpoints for engaging core youth demographics. Due to the success of this initiative, these practices continue to be implemented today.
My international experience includes four years of marketing for a tote bag brand based in Delhi, India where I supported branding, audience development, and social-led commerce strategies tailored to a growing overseas market. This experience allowed me to gain valuable cross-cultural communication skills and a deep understanding of remote collaboration. Despite time zone differences, I consistently met deadlines, stayed on top of upcoming campaigns, and maintained clear communication across teams. While I initially joined as a marketing team member, my proactive approach and leadership capabilities led to my promotion to team leader, where I guided strategy execution and coordinated collaborative efforts across departments.
Overall, my media background reflects a strong blend of creative execution and strategic thinking, with a focus on building authentic engagement across digital landscapes.
