  • Served as an integral part of the workshop and underground environment, strong problem-solving skills to address underground and surface mechanical breakdowns and repairs.
  • Performed the task of underground breakdown fitter for 3 year first beginning back mid 2021. Good depth of experience on all machines used in the Mungari / kundana area to a high standard, with great trust and acknowledgment from direct supervisors and work colleagues.
  • Good diagnostic process and good with relaying diagnostic information across to work colleagues to help assist with repairs and fault finding process, including praise from supervisors for this in mid year and yearly employee reviews.
  • Recently over the past 18 months have ventured into the part time leading hand position both full time for long periods of time and also part time fill in for personal coverage. working along side direct supervisors to a high standard, maintaining breakdown / day reports and job directions with crew members.
  • assist with an indepth training and support with all new employees, and guidance with apprentices and support whenever required by crews and personal.
  • Have produced and gathered in depth diagnostic data to evolution mining's maintenance managers and sustainability department regarding jumbo drifter usage and downtime increase with specific drilling and operation uses of the RD525 drifters, including relevant improvements and fixes to be applied
  • Completed Sandvik DD422 drill training courses.
  • Appointed statutory supervisor sign off by general manager in 2024.
  • Completed statutory supervisor training and passed the statutory supervisor exam in 2025.

  • Started my mining journey with northern star at millennium kundana mid 2021
  • Originally employed as a light vehicle mechanic after recently moving to Kalgoorlie from Esperance and wanting to extend my experience in the mechanical industry. i was offered a mobile maintenance heavy vehicle trade upgrade
  • Taking on this great opportunity i was transitioning between the heavy vehicle workshop and the light vehicle workshop for 3 months before being enrolled in in my heavy vehicle trade upskill.
  • I maintained a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and conducting regular inspections of multiple light vehicle machines, light vehicle hoists, inspections and repairs on multiple heavy vehicle drills, trucks and boggers.
  • Reduced downtime for heavy and light machinery by providing timely and efficient repairs on site.
  • Supported overall career growth by consistently meeting deadlines and exceeding supervisor expectations with quality repairs.
  • In late 2021 my employment was transferred from northern star resources to my current employer Evolution Mining Services where I have remained for the past 4 years at Millennium Mungari Operations.
