    • Provide and co-ordinate administrative assistance to support members, senior staff and the registry in managing cases and caseloads, including research and analytical work, and support during hearings. Maintain and update case files using case management systems.
    • Provide advice to, and respond to more complex enquiries from parties, representatives, legal practitioners and government agencies on AAT practice and procedure. Liaise with parties, their representatives and members of the public about listing events and the work of the Tribunal.
    • Develop and maintain advanced knowledge of applicable legislation and policy frameworks, operations and practices of the divisions of the Tribunal.
    • Exercise the statutory powers and functions of an authorised officer under the provisions of the Administrative Appeals Tribunal Act 1975.
    • Work collaboratively with the District Registrar, Registry Manager and other Team Leaders to manage the daily operations of the Melbourne Registry and contribute to continuous improvement of registry processes and procedures.
