I have been teaching the Ukrainian language to the children at the Ukrainian Community School for three years now. I have worked with children of different age and background, some of them were born in Australia and hardly knew how to speak Ukrainian, and some of them came to Australia when the war in Ukraine began. Currently I work with teenagers and during this period of working in a wonderful team of enthusiastic teachers volunteers we have developed an efficient system, taking into consideration age development factors, current circumstances, individual needs, Ukrainian educational system and requirements, and working thoroughly through all the needed skills. We are working on this systematically, improving and tailoring it to our students' needs.

I am proud to say, that our children have big success in their studying, they improved greatly their writing, reading and speaking skills.

My teaching job also includes the following:

Private Tutoring is my life time job. I started my tutoring activity at the last year of my university and I am continuing to do until this day. I am a very passionate teacher, motivating and helping my students to achieve their aims and fulfill their dreams. I have worked within different systems and used different techniques, keeping an individual and tailored approach to every individual. This job is very rewarding for me and this is one of my greatest joys - to see my student succeed and achieve their goals. I do not believe in "bad students" or "weak students", everything is possible with the right approach and motivation.

I volunteered at TAFE within the framework of the AMEP program. I had an amazing experience doing classroom tutoring within a multicultural and multifaceted environment, teaching students with different background, various age and level of language proficiency. I also conducted one-on-one sessions, helping my student to achieve her aims, developing her writing and speaking skills to be able to go through the interviewing process and gaining a job in her professional field, which she successfully did.

I was teaching a group of adults for over a year on a regular basis at the local church. I taught them according to the ESL program, adding content and activities tailored to their needs and aims. I used different motivational techniques and kept my focus on their main goals - to start speaking as soon as possible, to improve English grammar considerably and to be able to find a job or study that are relevant to their educational and professional background.

My teaching process included the following:

I was working for this private school for one year. I have developed a system and program myself, and then taught a group of young professionals according to this system. This was an English course for HR specialists in Ukraine. I used different modern methods to engage and educate my students. The program ended to be very successful and efficient.

While teaching this group of adults I did the following:

I worked at this wonderful private school for 5 years. I taught students according to an ESL program, I was trained additionally for that at this institution and needed to undergo additional trainings every year, which I successfully did. I conducted lessons three days a week. My students were mostly adults working towards their various aims. They were very pleased with the system and their results, had great achievements.

I worked as an English teacher at the Medical University for one year. I mostly taught medical terminology and English Grammar to my students. I worked full time and this was an amazing first teaching experience for me.
