Thanusha Vikneswaran

Hello! Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Thanusha, I am 20 going on 21 on the twelfth of July and I am a second year Economics and Finance student at RMIT.

In the previous cafe that I worked at, I was known to be an attentive waitress with superior knowledge of ethnic dining and dedication to fantastic dining experiences, trained in table-side serving with understanding of food and beverage pairings and great salesmanship. I was also known for maintaining speed and accuracy in high-traffic times.

• Achieved best speaker award for choral speaking in an inter-district competition
• I was voted as the president of my school's Interact Club. It's a charity club sponsored by the Rotary Club of Malaysia
• I was appointed as the president of my sports house
• I was the head of my cheerleading club
• I was the discipline officer in my secondary school

I like reading because it provides me with an escapism from the harsh reality that we all sometimes face. It has also improved my vocabulary which has helped me along my journey as a student

I like grocery shopping because I find it very therapeutic

I enjoy dancing as it acts as my distress coping mechanism
