  • Reporting to the parent company Rabobank in The Netherlands, this role was to ensure that the Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet ledger balances were prepared in accordance with current Regulatory legislation and company reporting guidelines. This included review of the management reporting and communication of commentary and analysis on results, trends and budget variances to the stakeholders - Management Team, European Regional control, Budget owners.
  • Controlled monthly overhead costs by effective monitoring of spend against budget, ensuring minimal fluctuations in net results to parent company Rabobank.
  • Submission of accurate and articulate monthly commentary on net costs to Rabobank enabling more accurate forecasting.
  • Preparation of the annual cost budget and periodic forecasts including analysis of year-to-date actuals as basis for budget/forecast. Worked closely with stakeholders to ensure the budget was prepared according to internal guidelines.
  • Simplified Management Accounts monthly reporting cycle by eliminating unnecessary tasks using LEAN methodology creating time savings.
  • Automation of general ledger reconciliations achieved following streamlining exercise creating time savings.
