  • I moved to Australia from the US in 2017, after clearing my Australian Medical Council MCQ and clinical exams I got general registration with the Medical Board of Australia(AHPRA)(General Registration number MED0002179993).
  • I started to work in the Rockhampton hospital as a junior house officer, during this time I worked in different departments including ED, General Medicine, General Surgery, OBG, and pediatrics.

  • This period of observership gave me the great opportunity to learn how to develop a good patient doctor relationship in the outpatient setup.

  • Most Meaningful - My research work at VA Atlanta Medical Center gave me an idea about how the hospital system works in the US and the data gathering and research protocols and also got exposure to the respected veterans of the US Army and their health issues, mental stress including PTSD, and effects of Diabetes.

It also gave an idea about confidentiality and HIPPA and its importance.
