Our Family have owned Tin Can Bay Tourist Park for 11 years, I have worked in the park since I was 7 years old. Mainly helping my father with all areas of grounds and maintenance. My first ever job to help dig a 15-meter trench to lay new electrical cable. Having grown up in this busy work environment, I have gained excellent work ethics, life skills and love working outdoors.

In the two weeks work experience. I worked on brand new houses on various stages of construction. From handovers to slabs being laid. During this time, I observed all other tradesperson onsite. This gave a good insight into the work life of being a carpenter and my wish to become an electrician and work within a company like Energex.
