Team Leader
- Liaise with clients to make appointments with internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with guardians and health professionals to ensure well being of clients
- Coordinate team meetings
- Provide workplace coaching, guidance and supervision to support staff
- Implement and monitor Work, Health and Safety policy, procedures and legislative requirements
- Provide weekly written and verbal reports on the social, physical and emotional well being of clients to business development manager and collaborate with client liaison officers to achieve quality outcomes for clients
- Undertake performance development reviews with staff and develop individual training plans to ensure ongoing professional development
- Report complaints made by service users and report to management
- Escalate matters that require reporting to external regulatory bodies such as the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission
- Assist client to manage financial budget and liaise with the guardians and public trustee
- Attend training sessions and be actively involved in training and development
- Liaise with staff to prepare weekly/fortnightly/ monthly roster of staff and ensure staff are rotated effectively
- Facilitate and monitor person centred plans(PCPs) and other health-related plans
- Ensure services are conducted in a way that facilitates person centred active support and inclusion
- Actively involved in the development of behaviour support plans with behavioural psychologists
- Involved in review and development of policies and procedures
- Participate in and contribute to quality improvement to meet service, accreditation and other standards.
