Have been working at Perth Children's Hospital (PCH) for 6 months now. Things I do at PCH:

• Carry out regular maintenance on the gardens at Perth Children's Hospital as per my schedule.
• Carry out reactive maintenance works on gardens.
• Complete reticulation repairs and maintenance.
• Ensure all gardens are presented in a neat and tidy state.
• Provide advice in any recommendations to improve the gardens
• Maintain garden facilities and equipment tools and machinery to a neat clean safe and serviceable condition
• Ensure all parts and stock are up to date.
• Comply with all policies procedures, code of conduct and other legislation
• Carry out all duties in accordance with prescribe workmanship standards and complies with all OHS obligations, safety standards and best working practice.

Had been working at Whiteman Park for 3 and a half years. Things I do/have done at the Park:

• Shadowed senior team members to learn all related jobs and tasks.
• I have participated in on-the-job training e.g. First Aid Training and Front End Loader training
• Have attended different training courses like the Bush Fire Firefighting course
• Have also got my chainsaw and pole saw license
• Learned new materials, processes, and programs quickly.
• Work closely with supervisors and coworkers and ask appropriate questions.

• Volunteered on the Environment team for a year up until my traineeship started. I worked once a week and did 8-hour working days. Also assisted with special events and programs that the park does e.g. the park holds a Volunteer Breakfast for all the volunteers that work at the Park.
• Used strong interpersonal communication skills to convey information to others
