• At Aplus my role was based on the gas and power station where we was blasting the existing over head pipe lines via a v deck/ rope access once all preparation work was complete we would then begin paint working using a 3 coat system

• At Energise my job was working on the offshore substation on the moray west wind farm, my job here was to blast/prep the legs of the substation to a SA 3 standard removing all existing paint work and re applying using a 3 coat system

At JWM we worked mainly on the railway along side Amcogiffen working all around the uk painting and blasting heritage and active railway bridges via rope access or off a scaffold. We also repaired the brickwork and pointing and brought the bridges back to life in my year at jwm me and my team repaired 20 full bridges. my role was primely blaster where i would take all the exiting old paint off the surfaces to a SA 2.5 standard and then with my team applying paint with a 3 coat system.

• At Berlintech my job was working using a cherry picker to climb the yellow jackets and do spot checks for any discrepancies/chips in the paint work I would then prep with sand paper tape and paint the spots bringing them back to perfect standard so the jackets could get shipped to Dogger Bank for the growing wind farm.

• At smc i was part of the stat inspection team, where we would have to maintain the turbine winch,lift and ladders. My job was to retag all of the attachment points all the ladders change all necessary survival and safety equipment and make sure it was all up to date.

• At kaefer we was working on the scroby sands wind farm on a push on plate campaign to take all existing push on plates off as they was bolted on and to be welded back. my role here was prepping the surface area of the welds using sanders and brittle blasters and then proceeding to paint the prepped area with a 3 coat system.

Lancashire building brickwork was the first company I worked for after I finished school I spent 3 years as an apprentice bricklayer learning my trade I spent 4 days on site where we worked on major housing developments in the uk one day at college.

after finishing my apprenticeship i partnered up with another bricklayer and we carried on building on the housing estates building luxury homes on some of the top house builders in the uk.
