At JWM we worked mainly on the railway along side Amcogiffen working all around the uk painting and blasting heritage and active railway bridges via rope access or off a scaffold. We also repaired the brickwork and pointing and brought the bridges back to life in my year at jwm me and my team repaired 20 full bridges. my role was primely blaster where i would take all the exiting old paint off the surfaces to a SA 2.5 standard and then with my team applying paint with a 3 coat system.
Lancashire building brickwork was the first company I worked for after I finished school I spent 3 years as an apprentice bricklayer learning my trade I spent 4 days on site where we worked on major housing developments in the uk one day at college.
after finishing my apprenticeship i partnered up with another bricklayer and we carried on building on the housing estates building luxury homes on some of the top house builders in the uk.
