Summary

I am a hard working and dedicated worker with 4 years of experience as a mentor and basketball development coach at Palmerston and Regional Basketball Association (PaRBA), and have completed my Bachelors Degree of Paramedicine at Charles Darwin University. I have experience working extensively throughout the Northern Territory, working as a mentor and coach to deliver a high-level of care, social programs, high performing basketball programs and youth engagement. I have worked, and work in a large number of areas, primarily delivering programs at Palmerston Recreation Centre, Bagot Community, Minmiramma Community, 15 Mile Community, Dondale Youth Detention Centre, Angurugu and Umbakumba, being aimed at Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander populations' and at-risk youth. I am a compassionate, cooperative person wanting to serve the community and support health, physical, mental and educational needs. I aspire to be an approachable, determined and empathetic individual, striving to become a better version of myself everyday.

  • The purpose of the role is to work with or under the direction of the HPO to deliver high-quality basketball clinics and activities on behalf of Palmerston and Regional Basketball Association (PaRBA).
  • Assist with administration, set up and delivery of basketball clinics and activities, within Schools and PaRBA Pathways programs.
  • Act as a primary coach in the delivery of PaRBA Academies
  • Attend community events as directed by the HPO or EO to assist in the promotion of PaRBA.
  • Provide face to face contact with stakeholders including, but not limited to other staff, parents, participants, and officials.
  • Promote all aspects of basketball to help maintain and grow the sport.
