Responsibilities

• Deliver holistic, evidence-based care to women and families across antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal settings as part of the Graduate Diploma of Midwifery program.
• Perform comprehensive maternal and neonatal assessments, escalate concerns appropriately, and implement care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
• Administer medications safely, monitor fetal wellbeing , and support women during labour and birth, including normal and assisted deliveries.
• Engage in continuity of care experiences, building therapeutic relationships and following women through their maternity journey to support informed decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Caring for the critically unwell patients'
• Communicates effectively within the multi-disciplinary team.
• Obtained hurdle/assessments in haemodynamic, advanced mechanical ventilation, dual chamber pacing, and CRRT.
• Comprehensive patient assessment and applying safely escalating findings to senior nursing and medical teams.
• Providing safe, timely, and patient-focused care.
• Worked effectively in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities:

• The Assessing and Coaching course was obtained from King's College London for the training and assessment of student nurses in the clinical environment.
• Leadership responsibilities included assisting with nurse training needs at the hospital. As well as clinical nurse in charge shifts.
• Facilitated patient discharges by coordinating with medical teams, social workers, case managers, and other support staff.
