I am a dedicated and compassionate aspiring youth worker with strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. My ability to connect with young people, provide support, and create a safe and inclusive environment allows me to make a meaningful impact. With hands-on experience, resilience, and a passion for youth empowerment, I am confident in my ability to contribute positively to any team.
I am currently working as a Support Worker at Cleo’s Place, where I provide holistic, person-centred support to clients with complex mental health conditions and behavioural needs. My role involves assisting clients with daily living tasks, including food shopping, meal planning and preparation, household cleaning, and budgeting support to help them build life skills and maintain independence.
I also provide transport to appointments, community activities, and essential services, ensuring clients remain engaged and connected to their support networks. A significant part of my role is offering emotional support during times of personal difficulty, acting as a reliable and compassionate presence for those navigating mental health challenges.
I have experience supporting clients with complex behaviours, using trauma-informed and strengths-based approaches to build trust and promote stability. I am skilled in writing clear, accurate, and professional case notes that align with client goals and organisational requirements. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, and the ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations all of which I bring to my work each day.
