- Supported day-to-day op shop operations across customer service, donations processing, merchandising, and store presentation.
- Served customers on the shop floor and at checkout; operated POS, handled cash/EFTPOS transactions, and followed cash-handling procedures.
- Processed donated goods: sorting, quality checking, cleaning/steaming, tagging, pricing, and preparing items for display.
- Maintained a tidy, welcoming store environment through regular cleaning, fitting-room upkeep, and stock organisation.
- Replenished and rotated stock throughout the day; created appealing displays and followed visual merchandising guidelines.
- Assisted with stock backroom organisation, lifting/moving donations safely, and adhering to WHS (Work Health & Safety) practices.
- Worked collaboratively with team members to meet daily targets and support peak periods (busy weekends/sales events).
- Communicated respectfully with a diverse customer base and contributed to the Red Cross mission through retail fundraising.
