Summary

A student-focused and highly versatile Education Assistant, delivering a wide range of services within the classroom and other learning-centred environments. Experienced in facilitating high-quality learning programs to a broad range of students with differing intellectual and physical abilities and from various social-cultural backgrounds.

I make it my priority to provide a genuine connection with students, their parents and staff. By fostering energetic and flexible approaches, I facilitate positive and inclusive learning environments and demonstrate a positive can-do attitude. I am passionate about instilling a life-long love of learning and continuous growth in students and work hard to motivate, support and encourage students in achieving their personal goals.

An accountable autonomous team contributor, able to work independently and unsupervised within established policies and procedures, while upholding all values, privacy and confidentiality principles.

I am currently studying part-time, completing a Certificate III in Information Technology, whilst upholding an active membership at Dyslexia -SPELD Foundation (dsf), of dyslexia through on-line courses and membership workshops for behaviour management. I have a personal interest following my son’s diagnosis of dyslexia and dyspraxia.
