Tiffiny McVeigh

Hi, my name is Tiffiny McVeigh, and I’m an 18-year-old British New Zealander currently living in  Queensland, Australia. I moved from New Zealand in 2018 and have since built a life fueled by storytelling, travel, and creativity. I’m currently in my gap year after graduating high school, and I’m preparing for a six-month trip through Japan and Europe—an experience I hope will continue to inspire my passion for film and media.

Outside of travel, my greatest passions lie in storytelling across different mediums. I spend much of my free time writing novels and poetry, editing short videos, filming, and scriptwriting. I also enjoy baking, climbing, and exploring new creative outlets. At present, I hold three jobs, including a senior supervisor position at a bakery where I train staff and help onboard new senior team members. I was recently offered a management role, which I chose to decline to prioritise my passion for travel and creative pursuits.

In addition, I work with two separate companies managing, posting, and advertising content for their social media platforms—experience that’s strengthened my eye for storytelling, branding, and digital engagement. With family based across the UK, France, Canada, and Scotland, I’ve always felt a global pull, and I’m excited to pursue media opportunities wherever they may arise. I'm determined, hardworking, and willing to do whatever it takes to build a career in film and media.
