Tiffney Daniels

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Education, with a specialization in Early Childhood Education from the Manukau Institute of Technology, and I have successfully completed my Post Graduate Diploma in Education at Massey University. This Post Graduate program includes instruction on teaching and understanding the needs of diverse learners. I see myself as a collaborative facilitator in the teaching and learning environment, working alongside children, families, and the larger community. My aspiration is to equip children with the resilience they need to grow into exemplary citizens within society. Children learn most effectively when their interests are recognized and thoughtfully planned for. Additionally, I value the contributions of children and parents from communities that experience vulnerability, as I believe it is crucial to engage with parents to foster a sense of inclusion. I also acknowledge that parents are the primary caregivers for their children; thus, for a child to achieve their fullest potential, it is essential to establish consistent relationships between parents and facilitators. Educational environments should be inclusive of diverse learners, allowing all children to feel a sense of belonging, which is vital for their holistic development. During my studies, I have gained experience working in early childhood centers, which has enriched my philosophy, leading me to believe that children flourish in settings where they feel safe and secure. Parents, educators, and the wider community are all significant contributors to children's lives. The broader community must ensure quality care throughout every phase of a child's education, recognizing it as an integral part of their learning experience. When these factors are enhanced by facilitators, parents, and educational institutions, it maximizes the child's developmental potential.
