• Mixed and managed drilling fluids under supervision of the Driller, ensuring optimal performance of the fluid system.
• Performed general maintenance on rig equipment, conducting inspections and troubleshooting to avoid downtime.
• Assisted loading and unloading supplies, maintaining a clean and organized worksite to support the team’s productivity.
• Adhered to strict safety protocols and participated in safety briefings, contributing to an injury-free workplace.

• Performed soil drilling, sampling and monitoring well installation, on sites.

• Safely operate up to 50-tonne of Komatsu and Hitachi Excavators with all attachments for demolition projects to perform all aspects of excavating holes, final trim, backfilling, creating stockpiles, pushing up stockpiles, building windrows and stripping all debris, loading trucks and general clean-ups throughout the site
• Responsible for safely operating a Volvo 50-tonne Truck to transport waste to designated stockpiles, driving to conditions and using effective two-way radio communication when reversing to the Loaders and Dig Units to get loaded
• Safely operate up to 45-tonne Wheel Loaders to load trucks, build windows, stockpile management and move materials to screeners for crushing along with following traffic management plans throughout the site
• Utilise 35-tonne Innocrush mobile impact crusher and 20-tonne Keestrack K3 Mobile screener to demolish and sort various materials for crushing and screening within the construction site
• Undertaking physical manual labour lifting over 30KG, following correct manual handling techniques when performing manual labour, lifting and moving materials and equipment consistently for 12-hour shifts in challenging weather conditions
• Responsible for performing general maintenance on Keestrack K3 Mobile Screener, including changing screens and rollers, replacing skirting and wear parts
• Use various power tools including battery saws, hammers, sledgehammers, angle grinders, jackhammers and power drills to ensure that they are safe to use before commencing work
• Liaise closely with engineers and safety officers, to develop, implement, and continually refine comprehensive safety protocols and procedures, advising of any potential delays and solutions to minimise impacts on the project
• Washdown of plant and machinery for maintenance using high-pressure water blasters ensuring that all equipment is in good working order and tagged following safety and compliance standards
• Conduct detailed pre-start inspections of all mobile plant and equipment checking the bucket’s teeth, isolations, electrics, fluids and fuel levels, tagging out and reporting defective equipmentand organising for any fluids or fuel to be topped up
• Maintain strict compliance with company and site OH&S policies and procedures, includingwearing the correct P.P.E, barricading off areas, hazard identification and reporting and promoting a safe working environment that is incident and injury-free
