Accomplishments

  • Awarded Academic Excellence Award August 2019 – Swinburne University – Bachelor of Business – Sports Management Major – Awarded for having the highest overall result for the Teaching period – Introduction to Management unit.
  • Addressed year on year sales decline at the JB Kawana store. Through effective leadership and strategic KPI planning, and re-engagement of the team the performance of the store was turned around and significant year on year sales and profit growth achieved.
  • Achieved record day sales in 2 consecutive years. Boxing Day 2014 and 2015 remain the 2 highest turnover days since JB Hi-Fi Kawana Opened in 2003.
  • Rolled out a brand new inventory management system to several Kmart stores throughout Queensland
  • Addressed and turned around the Kmart Caloundra store that had 4 years of sales/profit decline, achieving strong positive competitive comp growth in the first year and holding sales the next year despite adverse conditions for retailers.
  • Actively involved in many new store set ups and openings in and around Brisbane as well as the rollout of many concept and project stores and coordination of major refits
  • Actively involved with a cadet training program/trainee management program – facilitation and production of course content
