Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV)

Partnership with Southern Cross Ceramics to build an Automated Guided Vehicle, to support warehouse movements in distribution application by transporting 200 kg of ceramics on a trolley automatically by using RGB and RGBD sensors to detect the motions and lines.

• Involve in the selection of system requirement specifications (Sensors, Chassis, Microcontroller, and RFID system) to identify the best technical specifications and minimize the risk by comparing existing technologies for Industrial AGV system.
• Scheduled and facilitated meetings between project stakeholders to discuss deliverables, schedules and conflicts as an RMIT university representative.
• Monitored project progress, identified risks and took corrective action as needed.
