Working in a small team managing 380 Reserve Legal Officers (RLOs) across Australia. My key responsibilities include providing high-quality administrative services, managing officer processes, communicating information to relevant stakeholders, administering the DLRM budget, supervising non-ongoing staff as required, and organizing conferences.
New System: Implemented a system to deal with requests from RLOs for Honours and Awards, including retrieving archived files, extracting relevant information, and creating searchable MS Excel spreadsheets to produce SOPs for submission to the Directorate of Honours and Awards.
Database Improvements: Expanded and improved a database to store RLO contact information by liaising with a contractor to design and expand the Reserve Legal Officers Database (RLOD), which is now widely used.
Report Development: Produced a range of information from the RLOD for a range of stakeholders and management that allows the entire Defence Legal Division access and contact with Reserve personnel who contribute to the Division.
Supervisory Role: Took on the additional duties associated with the Card Management System (CMS) Supervisor role in June 2010, which was previously the full-time role of another individual. (Was awarded an Australia Day Medallion for this role).
