  • Planning and organising- When leading the team, I plan and organise the different runs that each person cleans, as well as altering these when needed During school holidays I divide the allocated hours given by management and instruct the team on which tasks need to be done (and the order if necessary)
  • Flexibility- There have been many times when I have been flexible to ensure that tasks get done in a timely and professional manner I have started at or finished at different times to help the team out I have changed areas or done extra areas when required by the client (eg: after a stage performance), or when a colleague was physically unable to do certain parts of their run
  • Collaboration- I am great at working in a team I listen to others, communicate my ideas and work with coworkers to achieve goals When cleaners in my team are away and they can't be covered, we communicate and decide who will take which parts of that cleaners area, so that the job gets done in the time frame we have
  • Communication- I communicate every day with the team of cleaners I lead, passing on any necessary messages and problem solving when they come to me with issues I also communicate important information to my managers as well as our clients, bringing up any issues that need to be discussed and problem solve to ensure the client is happy
