Ting Chia Hsu

Summary

Mr Hsu is a Taiwanese born, based in Sydney pianist and educator, winning top prizes of more than 10 international piano competitions. Ting obtains rich experiences in piano pedagogy from regional schools to national conservatoriums.

Ting was offerred full scholarships to study at the Interlochen Arts Academy in Michigan, the USA. Undergraduate and Master of Music with full scholarships at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music with Dr Paul Rickard Ford. Further postgraduate studies at the prestigious music schools ,Imola International Piano Academy” Incontri col Maestro” in Italy, with Maestro Igor Roma and Piero Rattalino. Recently completed the Konzertexamen at the Hochschule for music Franz Liszt Weimar, in the class of Professor, Grigory Gruzman.

• Has regularly given recitals worldwide, including in Thailand , Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan, Singapore, Spain, Germany, Italy, France, USA, and Switzerland. Ting has appeared as a soloist with many orchestras include, Liszt Piano Concerto no.1 E flat Major with the National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra, Liszt Piano Concerto no.2 with the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra. A Guest soloist to play the Rachmaninoff third piano concerto at the open ceremony of Thailand International piano competition .

• As an avid chamber musician, Ting represented Sydney Conservatorium of music to perform Dvorak and Shostakovich piano quintet at Estivo chamber music festival in Verona, Italy.
