Moonrocks is a family owned farm which focuses on onions, garlic, pumpkins and cotton. For the harvesting season the company has about 150 employees to assist on multiple areas of the farm.

My position was forklift operator at the department which was called " topshed". This department was responsible to receive the 1.5 million kg of onions and 100.000 kg of garlic and perform the first quality check, process the produce through the sizer and store the labeled bins.

In general my responsibilities were:

• Unload all roadtrains and trucks which contained the produce from the land
• Store the goods under the shelter ( bins were 6 levels high, no racking)
• Unstack the goods from the racking and "feed" the main installation
• Remove the full bins after the installation, replace with empty bins and store the full bins into the dry rooms.

This shed was partly opened, which caused that I was working in temperatures leading to 45 degrees celcius.

After the onion season ended I was transferred to the grape farm, a new owned line. Here I was responsible for the complete process after stacking. which meant:

• Sealing pallets
• Adjusting the inventory
• Labelling and filling in the paperwork
• Move stock to the freezers, about -3 degrees celcius
• Load trailers with grapes.

Responsible for facility aspects in large projects such as, but not limitted to:

• Security lay-out improvement
• New healthcare customer implementatiosn
• Brand new facility implementation according to our building standard

• Supervised staff of 3 in day-to-day activities.
• Member of the management team in a warehouse which had 600 fte
• Oversaw all aspects of equipment installation, maintenance, and repair for both internal and external services.
• Evaluated facility operations and personnel for safety and health regulations compliance.
• Enhanced safety standards by conducting regular facility inspections and addressing potential hazards promptly.
• Oversaw finances and made recommendations to reach or exceed budget in unforeseen circumstances.
• Coordinated with cleaning and janitorial services to keep facility clean and presentable for occupants.

• Head of BHV which had about 70 volunteers
• Implementing improvements which contributed to a safer warehouse
• Follow the guidelines of the headoffice
• Monitor and report EtO levels in warehouse to relevant departments
