Moonrocks is a family owned farm which focuses on onions, garlic, pumpkins and cotton. For the harvesting season the company has about 150 employees to assist on multiple areas of the farm.
My position was forklift operator at the department which was called " topshed". This department was responsible to receive the 1.5 million kg of onions and 100.000 kg of garlic and perform the first quality check, process the produce through the sizer and store the labeled bins.
