During my experiences at my previous job roles I have acquired team working and communication skills. Working with different customers has taught me many skills such as being patience, mindful of their needs and requirements and being accommodating. I am seeking a role that is customer orientated where I can demonstrate my friendly and keen eye for detail that benefits the customer.   • Working with Active Netball UK has helped me gain so many experiences as I have worked there for over 8 years
  • Initially my first role was as a junior umpire, my responsibilities were to manage the game play, dealing with any issues that would occur during a game
  • My role developed into being a coach for the Back to Netball Women’s League, this consisted of designing and delivering the coaching sessions and training up to 30 women on how to construct netball skills and drills.
  • Lead coach for back to Netball training and skills – Developed 8 new teams into the ANUK league generating an increase to the company’s income by £5,000 in 2023 financial year
  • I am the Head Umpire and lead the team of umpires by handling the shifts each week with organising the schedule whilst also managing their wages, I also motivate and train trainee junior umpires to ensure they have all the basic skills of being an umpire to take their test to become qualified.
  • Book keeping responsibilities – Manage the receipts and expenditure for the company, also manage all the teams weekly subs for games.
  • Social Media support – Manage the yearly tournament events and create posters to entice new teams, update the Instagram and Facebook with all upcoming events and updates for the teams and players to see.

Activities

Netball: Being in YWCA Bury Netball club and St Monica’s Nationals and County Team has been one of the highlights of my time at the school as we won the National Champions title in 2018. Playing in a team has given me the ability to rely on others and learn to compromise when it was needed. This has also given me the confidence to support others when problems occurred during the games.
