Currently employed as a assistant manager at Raffertys Tavern.
I transferred over from The flying horse where I was working as a venue manager. The transfer of venues allowed me to further build on my experience and skills. During my time at Raffertys I have been given the chance to run the venue with a function room, a restaurant, sports bar, bottle shop and a gaming room.
This has increased my skills in a larger venue with more staff, tills, gaming machines and patrons.
The staff members that have trained myself have provided me with a great deal of knowledge in promotions, money handling and directing up to 18 staff members per shift.
Venue Manager
The Flying Horse
04.2019 - 06.2023
I have worked at this venue for just over 4 years. In the later years when i was offered managament. i was in charge of running a venue with 3 function rooms, restaurant, sportsbar, bottleshop and gaming room.
This has taught me how to adapt and think on my feet in a fast paced workplace, direct staff, improved my maths and money handling skills, counting up to 8 tills and 8 gaming machines & be apart of a big team.
IT Technician
Warrnambool College
01.2020 - 08.2021
Working with computers has always been an interest of mine and i had the opportunity to work along side 3 very highly trained Technicians.
The school was very inviting and allowed me to learn a lot of things from breaking down and repairing hardware like laptops and computers, to implementing new software across a whole network hundreds of people would be using.
During my journey here the IT manager left to go onto better and more exciting rolls in IT, upon replacement of his role the new IT manager began implementing logins and access of new students and staff available remotely during covid. During this time i realised i missed the interaction of helping and assisting face to face so gave up the roll to go back full time into hospitality and continue at the Flying horse were i was working as a casual during these times
