• Supported the team with wires and other vine management procedures ready for harvest.
• I worked closely with a 3 man team applying/removing nets before and after the harvesting of fruit.
• i worked on a block of young vines maintaining their health and growth by adding a supporting stakes, taping and removing the extra shoots.
• Aided in maintaining a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Communicated effectively with fellow team members during daily tasks, coordinating efforts for efficient completion of work assignments.

• Lifted wires after the pruning season.
• Provided support to the managers by going to vineyards alone and working without supervision.

I worked alongside a small team on a Family run Vineyard, This was my first experience on Vineyards and where i gained most of my knowledge.

In total I stayed for a full season fulfilling most Vineyard jobs with some additional time spent working alongside the winemaker around harvest.

Some of the skills i gained during my time are,

• Understanding time management to ensure the vines are correct for that period.

• Confidence in my own work as i assisted with helping the volunteers during Harvest

During my time at Go Outdoors i built my confidence and understanding for sales.

As it was a store based around Outdoor gear and Equipment we must inform our customers correctly to ensure safety, this was crucial to the sale of products and therefore i had extensive knowledge of all gear we sold.

• Greeted customers, helped locate merchandise, and suggested suitable options.
• Replenished sales floor merchandise and organized shelves, racks, and bins for optimal appearance.
• Demonstrated strong communication skills when collaborating with fellow employees or assisting customers with inquiries or concerns.
• Helped customers complete purchases, locate items, and join reward programs.
• Managed returns and exchanges process smoothly, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction even during difficult situations.
• Assisted in training new employees on store policies and procedures, contributing to a cohesive team environment.
